Education: Master of performing arts.
Experience: Over ten years of experience in dance and teaching, with many of those years spent at Rimpparemmi.
What I like about dance: I believe in touch, and it is one of the most important aspects of dancing for me. As a performing art, I enjoy the elevated, unrealistic aesthetic of dance.
What I don’t like: When my stamina runs out, and I get thirsty.
Why Rimpparemmi: Ending up at Rimpparemmi was coincidental, but perhaps the reason I’m still here is that I feel Rimpparemmi provides a good platform for diverse artistic expression in dance. You can do it all!
Favorite performance: “Leiblied” or “Karja arktisessa paratiisissa” (Cattle in the Arctic Paradise). Both of them combined the challenge for me as a performer and dancer with the audience’s enthusiasm for the work.
