On January 26, 2024, at 7:00 PM, Remmi Liveklub will open its doors, featuring an enchanting jazz performance by Italian-Danish jazz vocalist Alice Carreri with the Olli Estola Quartet.
Their diverse repertoire will take the audience on a journey through the history of jazz, from the melodies of Billie Holiday, Cole Porter, and Kurt Weill to the modern songs of the Black Keys and Janelle Monae. The evening promises a time-traveling experience from the 1930s to the present day.
Italian-Danish jazz vocalist Alice Carreri has been an integral part of the Copenhagen jazz community for a long time. She has performed with musicians such as Jacob Fischer, Hans Ulrik, Hugo Rasmussen, and Jacob Christoffersen. Additionally, she has worked as the soloist for the Tivoli Big Band in various productions and composed stage music for various dance and theater performances. The Olli Estola-led quartet from Oulu has been accompanying Alice for a decade.
